Getting started

Welcome to CS 101!

Sign up for our CampusWire forum. You will be responsible for announcements posted there, so be sure to check it at least once a day. Urgent announcements will be posted there and emailed to the class. The join code is 8321 .
Register for the course on Prairielearn. You will need to log in using your UIUC account. Be sure you select the correct semester. Sp24-Makeup is not for you, pick Fa24 instead.
Once you have logged in to Prairielearn, you can access the course directly.
Prairielearn will show you the scores for your individual assignments, but if you want a summary report and resulting letter grade report, follow the instructions on the your grades page.
You should now review the Syllabus.

Lectures are Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 in the Lincoln Hall Theater, located here.

Labs happen throughout the week.
- You can look up your lab time, location, and TA at the TA Labs and Office Hours. This will be populated by the end of the first week of class.
- New this semester: the labs will be in the CIF.
- Attendance is required!
